We are located in Heanor, Derbyshire. Just six miles from junction 26 of the M1, in between the major cities of Nottingham and Derby. See the maps below for our exact location, and follow the driving directions to get to our studio.
Driving
Directions.
Northbound From M1 South.
Exit the M1 at junction 26, and take the first A610 exit on the
roundabout towards Ripley. Carry on along the dual carriageway
past the large Ikea store on the right. Shortly past Ikea, stay
in the left hand lane as it filters off up towards a roundabout.
Take the first exit and proceed through Langley Mill and
eventually up a hill into Heanor Market Place. Carry on through
the market place and down the hill out of the town centre. At the
next roundabout, take the first A608 exit signposted towards
Smalley and Derby. Tesco is on the right, Field Photographic is
on the left 150 yards after the roundabout.
Southbound From M1 North.
Exit the M1 at junction 28, and take the right hand exit to the
A38, Derby. After approximately six miles, take the Ripley exit
from the dual carriageway, and at the roundabout take the exit
signposted towards Codnor and Nottingham. At the next roundabout
turn right, and shortly afterwards, at the next roundabout, turn
left, again towards Codnor, Loscoe, and Nottingham. Proceed for
1.5 miles to Codnor Market Place, and at the traffic lights,
proceed straight on. Carry on for a further two miles, and turn
right at the roundabout for the A608 towards Smalley and Derby.
Tesco is on the right, Field Photographic is on the left 150
yards after the roundabout.
From Nottingham.
Leave the city on the A610 and carry on for several miles,
crossing the M1 junction 26. Proceed along the dual carriageway
past the large Ikea store on the right. Shortly past Ikea, stay
in the left hand lane as it filters off up towards a roundabout.
Take the first exit and proceed through Langley Mill and
eventually up a hill into Heanor Market Place, Carry on through
the market place and down the hill out of the town centre. At the
next roundabout, take the first A608 exit signposted towards
Smalley and Derby. Tesco is on the right, Field Photographic is
on the left 150 yards after the roundabout.
From Derby and A52.
Leave the city from the Pentagon island on the A61. Turn left at
the first roundabout and carry on down Mansfield Road, passing
the UCI Meteor Centre on the left, and a BMW showroom on the
right. Proceed trough the traffic lights and straight on for
several miles through the villages of Morley, then Smalley.
Entering Heanor, go past Heanorgate School on the left, then the
Memory Lane pub. Go down a slight incline, Tesco is on the left,
and Field Photographic is on the right 150 yards before the
roundabout.
Parking.
Parking is available at the roadside both up and down hill from
the studio. The nearest pay and display car park is on Mount
Street. Tesco car park is directly across the road from the
studio, down a flight of steps.
